Never underestimate the power of an Indian man. Prajapati began as a laborer in the brass industry, but his sharp observational skills helped him learn the minute details of the entire workings of the industry. Around the age of 18 years, he started his set-up that intended to manufacture specialized products of brass components. Prajapati borrowed an amount of 50,000 rupees from his mother’s lifetime savings for the investment required to begin the business. Thus, in 1992 he founded his first venture ‘Shiv Om Brass’.

Prajapati’s hard work convinced his family friend Ashish Rabadia in the bright future of the company. Hence, Rabadia associated himself with Shiv Om Brass in 1995 and invested a decent amount in the expansion of the business.

Prajapati suffered from huge losses due to a Chennai-based customer bankruptcy, and the struggle kept its clutches on until 11th September 1996. That day changed his life; Snehal Prajapati was blessed with a daughter and the same day he received his biggest order from Railway Contracts.

Prajapati worked in a brass factory in the UK. The rest of the time tapped the markets for his company. Looking at the passion this man possesses, the owner of this company sold him the entire operational setup for carrying the business future. He made almost double the profits by selling the customer rights to a UK-based company also, seeking their partnership. Finally, he came back to India with modern machinery and valuable technology.

Today, Prajapati is known as the business tycoon and the king of the brass industry. Shiv Om Brass industry having 80% of international sales located at GIDC Jamnagar phase-3. The manufacturing unit spread across 1,50,000 square feet of land.
